About Empress Matcha

Empress Matcha was created by a mom and her two daughter’s love for matcha! We were obsessed with matcha lattes and found ourselves going to cafes daily to get our “fix”. What we found is that all matcha lattes were not created equally.

We loved the ambiance and our relationships with the baristas at local cafes, but we didn’t always love the matcha. We started preparing matcha at home, making interesting recipes, and plenty of adjustments along the way. 

With trial, error, three different tastes buds, and personalities, we unanimously agreed that this specific ceremonial matcha was perfect…leading to the creation of Empress Matcha!
